信度与效度
Ryan和Connell(1989)在调查1中收集了三次数据,主要调查了纽约州北部三个不同学区的小学。样本1来自城市,代表中低档家庭,122名学生完成了问卷,均为4到6年级学生。样本2来自郊区,由主要中等至中等以上白人家庭的3至6岁的儿童组成,156名学生完成了问卷。样本3来自农村,由市中心外约60英里的学区的3-6岁的儿童组成,主要代表中下阶层的白人。结果表明,自我调节量表的各个分量表的内部一致性系数范围在0.62到0.82之间。

内在量表:共2道题,包括第17-18题。
