Motives for Exploration Scale 探索动机量表（Martin等，2010）
简介
依恋（attachment）指的是个体与一个特定的人的持续联系，这个特定的人是当孩子或者个体感到脆弱或需要保护时就会去寻找的那个人（照料者）。根据内部工作模型的差异，可将成人依恋类型区分为四种类型：安全型（secure）、拒绝型（dismiss）、关注型（preoccupied）和恐惧型（fearful），并且从自我模型（依恋焦虑）和他人模型（依恋回避）两个维度对它们进行测量。
基于依恋理论，Martin等（2010）研究了不同的依恋类型与成人对外部环境的探索的动力和感知到的支持的关系。
信度与效度
Martin等（2010）共进行了两个研究，研究1的样本来自于西南大学的282名本科生，152名女性和130名男性，所有参与者都至少恋爱了一个月。结果表明，探索动机量表的两个维度合作伙伴依赖性探索动机（PDME）和合作伙伴独立性探索动机（PIME）的内部一致性系数分别为0.84和0.79。
