简介
对外部威胁的恐惧(Fear of External Threat)是指来自员工组织之外的因素导致得不确定感、这些因素可能包括经济或者产业下行,竞争对手的威胁,技术变革或者兼并和收购。(Ashford, Lee, & Bobko, 1989; Schweiger & DeNisi,1991)。
学者R. David Lebel(2016)在探究主管的开放性程度如何引导员工在对外部威胁感到恐惧时发表自己的观点时,借鉴了 Ashford et al. (1989)和Schweiger ,DeNisi (1991)编制的量表,从中选取了3道题,同时根据研究的需要自主编制了两道题,构建员工对外部威胁的恐惧量表,用于后续的分析研究。
信度与效度
学者R. David Lebel(2016)在2014年通过电子邮件的方式对在美国东北部某一所大学中的3410名在2000-2014年在毕业的MBA校友进行问卷调查,共收到636份问卷,回收率为18.7%,剔除了无效问卷,有效问卷为570份,回收率为16.7%。同时为了避免共同方法偏误,在六周后进行第二轮调查,共收到问卷421份问卷,回收率为66.2%(以第一次调查为基准)其中,对外部威胁的恐惧的测量结果显示内部一致性系数为0.87。
