PSC是建立在早期的职业压力与职业安全的联系之上，是组织层面的一个具体维度，是指对“保护职工心理健康与安全的政策，实践和程序”的共同认识（Dollard＆Bakker，2010）。 PSC的内容主要包括：（1）高级管理人员通过参与和承诺为压力预防提供支持和承诺; （2）在管理方面，员工心理健康与安全高于生产力目标; （3）组织沟通，即组织倾听员工的想法; （4）组织参与，例如与工会，职业健康与安全代表协商。（如Bond＆Bunce，2001; Cox，Randall，＆Griffiths，2002）
